Our Sunbrella®, Ombrélios® and Orchestra® fabrics offer excellent protection against the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays (99.8% UV filtering)

Water & stain repellent

The water repellent feature allows the fabric to repel water, preventing the formation of water pockets on the surface and providing effective protection against the rain.

Mildew and fade resistant

Sunbrella® fabrics retain their original colour for a long time, even when exposed to intense sunlight.

Easy care

Sunbrella® fabrics are generally easy to clean. They are stain-resistant and can be washed without losing their strength or colour.

Acrylic combines aesthetics and technical performance: this material offers real sun protection (unlike polyester) of up to 100%, and is resistant to mould, stains and fading, as well as being easier to maintain. 95% of our range is made from this material with brands such as Sunbrella®, Orchestra® & Ombrélios®.

Not all parasols provide UV protection: It all depends on the quality of the fabric. Its weave and material make all the difference. It's fair to say that most polyester parasols won't protect you from UV-A and UV-B. Médicis parasols with Sunbrella® fabrics are approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation. Our Sunbrella® & Ombrelios® fabrics can block up to 99% of UV-A and UV-B rays.

At Médicis, our parasols, whether offset or fixed, offer equivalent fabric quality and protection. The difference lies in their size, options and type of pole. We offer three types of parasol to suit your needs and your outdoor spaces: the classic straight parasol with a round, square or rectangular canvas on a fixed aluminium pole, the tilting parasol that offers extra adaptability, and finally the modern offset parasol that is positioned on its side and equipped with a sliding handle and crank for easy adjustment.
